Centro de Exposições Fiergs

In the far south of Brazil, there lies the metropolis Porto Alegre with its 1.4 million inhabitants. The other big cities like Rio de Janeiro, or the capital, Brasila, are 1,500-2,000 km away. The amenities of the city are very pleasant, and include many green spaces. Furthermore, the city is located right by the river Guaiba, where Brazil's largest river port was built, which features a quay length of 6 km. Also worth a visit is the massive cathedral in the historic city center, the "Praca Marcheal Deodoro". In total, the exhibition grounds cover 36,724 m², which are used for all types of events. In the building part with the seminar and meeting rooms there is also a conference hall. Another building hosts additional meeting rooms and a theater. The largest hall for exhibitions and other events is located in the spacious exhibition hall in the 3rd part of the building, the "Exhibition Center". 3,100 parking spaces are available at the Centro de Exposições Fiergs. From Salgado Filho International Airport (12 km away), you may reach the fair in only 12 minutes by car; the city center of Porto Alegre is 15 km from the fair. Close to the exhibition center, you'll find the highway BR 290, which is directly connected to the Fiergs exhibition via the "Avenue Assis Brasil". Via the highway, you may also reach the hotels in downtown Porto Alegre. By public transport you can reach the fairgrounds from "Praca Parobé Terminal" in downtown with the buses 627 and 727, as well as with the buses D72, D73 and D13.
