From the covered roof of the town hall, two small towers protrude. The town hall seamlessly blends into the beautiful old town with its timber-framed buildings and historical structures. An interesting fact about Alsfeld: The town is associated with the fairy tale Little Red Riding Hood. There's a legend that the famous red cap of the girl in the fairy tales was inspired by the traditional costumes in Alsfeld.
