Cintermex

Monterrey is the capital of the Mexican state of Nuevo Leon in north-eastern Mexico and one of the most important industrial centers of the country. The metropolitan area with a size of 860 km² is home to more than 1.2 million people. In the 80s, right in the heart of the city, a large industrial site was closed down, creating space for a concept using the location as a trade fair setting in an area of 114 ha. The Cintermex Convention Center covers more than 7,900 m², consisting of 28 parlors for job fairs, conventions and congresses. The exhibition center with 18,380 m² of permanent exhibition space and 6 meeting rooms provides room for 4,000-12,000 visitors. Due to its central location, the center can be easily reached by car, the International Airport Mariano Escobedo is about 25 minutes away from the site. Right at the exhibition, there are numerous parking spaces, which are managed via four entry lanes to allow a fluid traffic flow. On the site, both music events and trade fairs and congresses take place.
