Cluj-Napoca is the fourth largest city in Romania and is located in the north-western part of the country. Approx. 300,000 people live in Transylvania; Cluj-Napoca is the capital. Historic buildings await the visitors. A stroll through the streets and over the three large and central squares of the city is definitely worth the trouble. In the north-western part of Romania, the Expo Transylvania is one of the largest event organizers. Approx. 30 events are held here annually, including conferences and trade shows. The fair has opened many international contacts for Romania. The motorways E60 and E81 lead into the city. Just east out of town, on the E576, there is the airport of Cluj-Napoca, the third largest airport in Romania. As a transportation hub for rail transport, many of the express trains serve the city.
