Since its inception in 2010, the "International Machine Tool Show" (TMTS) has been a pivotal gathering for the machine tool and metalworking industry. On the whole the organisers welcomed on the 5 days of the fair, from 07. November to 11. November 2018, about 712 exhibitors from 15 countries and 86477 visitors from 56 countries on the TMTS in Taipei.

The TMTS takes place biennially, and therefore for the 9th time previsibly in March 2026 in Taipei.
