Vegetarian Food Asia is the first and only trade fair for the vegetarian food sector in Hong Kong, expected to attract ten thousands of relevant buyers and visitors from all over the world, including China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Japan, Korea, Singapore, Malaysia and Australia. It is to facilitate the growing market trend towards vegetarian foods and products from cereals, grains, fruits and vegetables, nuts, spices and herbs to beverages. In the recent years, a growing trend towards vegetarianism and veganism has arisen due to the increasing awareness of health, the environment and compassion for animals which made vegetarianism has grown to be an increasing popular lifestyle, vegetarian eating is in higher profile than ever in Asia. Number of experts and scholars from mainland China, Hong Kong and Taiwan, will share their expertise and ideas on the market trends and commercial models of the sector as well as vegetarianism and green health culture at the onsite forum.
