vocatium Hamburg

The vocatium trade fair, a platform for educational and career orientation, takes place twice a year in the MesseHalle Hamburg-Schnelsen. The MesseHalle is well connected to the public transport network. Since 2008, the IfT Institute for Talent Development has been responsible for organizing the fair, a specialist in individual career guidance and further education. The Institute not only hosts vocatium fairs in Hamburg, but also at numerous other locations in Germany.

They are part of a nationwide network focusing on individual vocational and academic guidance for young people. Over 80 locations in Germany have adopted the unique fair concept of scheduled discussions. Key topics include education, career orientation, studies, training and further education, with representatives from companies, universities and institutions from various sectors. The main focus is on personal counseling sessions, information booths, and presentations, which support visitors in their professional orientation. A highlight of the fair is the so-called "speed dating" with potential employers and educational institutions, which allows participants to gather many valuable contacts in a short time.
