The Azerbaijan International Travel and Tourism Fair (AITF) is the leading trade fair for the travel and tourism industry in Azerbaijan and the entire Caucasus region. Since its inception in 2002, it has served as an international platform for professionals, businesses, and decision-makers to explore new markets, establish partnerships, and drive innovation in the industry.
Held annually in April at the Baku Expo Center—one of Azerbaijan’s most modern exhibition venues—AITF is Central Asia’s premier tourism trade fair, bringing together a wide range of industry players. Travel agencies, hoteliers, airlines, cruise operators, tourism technology providers, and many other service providers showcase their offerings and forge new business connections.
AITF covers a broad spectrum of themes. International and regional travel destinations present themselves to attract visitors. Companies from the hospitality and gastronomy sectors showcase their latest concepts, while airlines, cruise lines, and land transportation providers introduce their services.
The MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) sector plays a key role, focusing on business travel, corporate events, and incentive programs. Additionally, health and wellness tourism is gaining significance, reflecting the rising demand for medical and relaxation travel. Sustainable tourism is also a focal point, with exhibitors presenting eco-friendly travel concepts and innovative solutions for responsible tourism. Meanwhile, digital advancements—including online booking systems, virtual reality applications for tourism, and AI-driven travel planning—are becoming increasingly integral to the industry.
AITF attracts a diverse range of international and regional exhibitors. National and regional tourism organizations, tour operators, hospitality businesses, technology providers, and transport companies use the fair as a platform for networking and business development. Key visitors include travel agencies, tourism experts, investors, government representatives, and executives from the hospitality and transportation sectors.
One of AITF’s greatest strengths is its strategic location in Baku—a rapidly growing economic and cultural hub at the crossroads of Europe, Asia, and the Middle East. The fair serves as a gateway for international companies looking to enter the Eastern European, Asian, and Central Asian markets. At the same time, it contributes to the sustainable development of Azerbaijan’s tourism industry and fosters innovation in the sector.
In addition to the exhibition, AITF offers a diverse supporting program. Industry conferences, networking events, and panel discussions provide professionals with opportunities to exchange insights on the latest trends and developments. Outstanding companies and innovative tourism concepts are recognized with awards and accolades.
The fair is organized by Caspian Event Organisers LLC (CEO), one of Azerbaijan’s leading exhibition organizers. With extensive experience in hosting international trade fairs and events across the region, CEO connects global companies with key industry players.
As the host city, Baku offers a unique blend of modern architecture, historic landmarks, and economic vibrancy, making it an attractive destination for both business travelers and tourists. The Baku Expo Center is well-connected via public transportation and international flight routes, providing state-of-the-art infrastructure to ensure a seamless and successful trade fair experience.
A very special event is the 20th anniversary edition of the AITF - Azerbaijan International Travel and Tourism Fair, which takes place on 3 days from Wed., 08.04.2026 to Fri., 10.04.2026 in Baku.
