On the grounds of the Al Bateen Executive Airport, a strategically favourable place for this purpose, the helicopter exhibition of Abu Dhabi, the Abu Dhabi Heli Expo, takes place. On three consecutive days various types of helicopters including equipment are exhibited at this event aimed at trade visitors, which will be held together with the Abu Dhabi Air Expo. The helicopters exhibited are used for different purposes, as tourist or charter helicopter, but also for rescue missions or means of transport for raw materials. The latter is of major importance in a country with large oil reserves like the UAE. The event is accompanied by a conference. The airport is located in the centre of Abu Dhabi. Parking is available in designated areas.
The Abu Dhabi Heli Expo in Abu Dhabi took place from Mon., 26.02.2018 to Wed., 28.02.2018 for the 1st time.
