AfricaTech Festival Cape Town

Africa Tech Festival is the leading pan-African event for the communications industry. The event's name reflects the extensive connectivity and digital communications networks spanning the African continent. Held annually at the Cape Town International Convention Centre (CTICC) in Cape Town, it is organised by Informa Tech, a division of Informa PLC.

The event plays a significant role for Cape Town and South Africa, providing a platform to position both the country and the wider continent as key players in the Fourth Industrial Revolution (4IR). Its main themes include the convergence of telecommunications, digital infrastructure and policy; connecting Africa's next billion people; investment in digital infrastructure; future strategies for telecoms operators; sustainability and climate resilience; and developments in broadcasting, media and entertainment.

The exhibition showcases a wide range of products and services focused on technology, telecommunications and digital infrastructure. It also offers industry insights and resources, including webinars, videos, articles and reports produced in collaboration with Omdia and Connecting Africa.

Highlights of the event include specialist conferences, expert-led seminars, workshops and training sessions. The Africa Tech Festival Awards also recognise network operators and service providers that demonstrate outstanding commitment and deliver innovative solutions.

Africa Tech Festival attracts exhibitors from a broad range of industries, including telecommunications operators, healthcare companies, banks and financial institutions. Its core audience comprises professionals from the telecommunications, healthcare, finance, media, education and technology sectors.

The Cape Town International Convention Centre provides a modern, easily accessible venue equipped with the facilities needed to host a successful event. Cape Town itself is not only a popular tourist destination but also a major hub for innovation and business on the African continent.

The AfricaTech Festival will take place on 3 days from Tuesday, 17. November to Thursday, 19. November 2026 in Cape Town.
