Agri Intexwas established in 2000 and has since evolved into a major international trade fair for agriculture. Held annually at the state-of-the-art Codissia Trade Fair Complex in Coimbatore, South India, the event has become a central platform for showcasing innovations, technologies, and services from all sectors of the agricultural industry. The name "Agri Intex" stands for "Agriculture International Exhibition", highlighting its global scope and ambition.

The fair is organized by the Coimbatore District Small Industries Association (CODISSIA), a highly influential economic body that uses Agri Intex to foster dialogue between traditional farming practices and modern, future-oriented solutions.

Agri Intex is distinguished by both its thematic breadth and technical depth.
