The "Aquaculture Vietnam," held biennially in October in the vibrant city of Ho Chi Minh City, represents Vietnam's premier international event for the aquaculture industry. Established in 2019 by Informa Markets Vietnam, it has quickly become one of the leading events in this sector.
Vietnam is among the top global exporters of seafood and fish products. In particular, the cultivation of shrimp and Pangasius (a type of catfish) has contributed significantly to export revenues. With the growing importance of aquaculture, the need for research and development in this sector has increased. This has led to innovations in sustainable fishing practices, disease management, and enhanced nutritional strategies.
The exhibition, hosted at the prestigious SECC Saigon Exhibition & Convention Center – a modern and expansive venue, offers a platform that showcases the entire food value chain in the aquaculture, fisheries, and seafood industry.
Concurrent with Aquaculture Vietnam, the Vietstock is also organized, a comprehensive expo for the livestock, poultry, feed, aquaculture, and meat processing industries. This provides visitors with a broad perspective and access to a wide range of products and services in related fields.
A particular highlight of Aquaculture Vietnam is the technical seminars. Here, renowned experts, association representatives, government officials, and scientists share their insights and invaluable knowledge from the aquaculture sector. This exchange of information and expertise is of immeasurable value for participants always on the lookout for the latest developments and best practices in the industry.
The Aquaculture Vietnam will take place on 3 days from Wednesday, 11. March to Friday, 13. March 2026 in Ho Chi Minh City.
