Arena Berlin

For decades the Arena Berlin was only used for the maintenance of buses. In 1995, the building was restored and converted into an ultra-modern venue. The hall is located directly at the water and can be reached easily by public transport. The bus stops in front of the door, the subway station Schlesisches Tor and the city train station Treptower Park are only a ten resp. five minutes walk away. The arena is 7.000m2 in size and mainly used for concerts, fairs, and parties. The rent for private events is also possible. The hall provides hi-tech equipment such as 400m2 solar cells on the roof and 1.200 skylights with shutters. Right next to the building the “Badeschiff”, a floating swimming pool, is anchored on the river Spree. Additionally two saunas, a sunbathing area, relaxing zones and bars are offered.
