BIEL Light + Building Buenos Aires

The BIEL Light + Building is the leading trade fair for lighting, electrical engineering, and building technology in Argentina and a key meeting point for the entire Latin American market. It takes place every two years at the renowned La Rural Trade Center – a modern exhibition venue in the heart of Buenos Aires. Thanks to its central location and proximity to major transport hubs and landmarks, the venue is easily accessible both nationally and internationally.

The fair is organized by Messe Frankfurt Argentina in close cooperation with the Argentine Chamber of Electrical and Lighting Manufacturers (CADIEEL). This partnership combines international exhibition expertise with deep local industry knowledge, ensuring professional organization, relevant content, and effective networking opportunities.

As the regional edition of the globally established “Light + Building” fairs, BIEL Light + Building brings together all key areas of modern building technology under one roof. It covers the entire value chain of electrical, electronic, and lighting technology and is aimed exclusively at trade visitors such as electricians, engineers, architects, planners, energy consultants, wholesalers, and system integrators.

The focus lies on the intelligent integration of energy generation, distribution, and management, advanced lighting technologies, and forward-looking building automation – topics that are gaining importance in the context of urbanization, energy efficiency, and smart building trends. At a time when Latin American cities are increasingly investing in sustainable infrastructures and digital solutions, the fair positions itself as a driver of innovation and a platform for future-oriented exchange.

On the whole the organisers welcomed on the 4 days of the fair, from 11. September to 14. September 2019, about 195 exhibitors from 12 countries and 25326 visitors from 23 countries on the BIEL Light + Building in Buenos Aires.

The BIEL Light + Building takes place biennially, and therefore for the 19th time previsibly in October 2027 in Buenos Aires.
