The Busan International Seafood and Fisheries Expo (BISFE) establishes itself as a comprehensive trade fair that brings the wide spectrum of the fishing and seafood industry into focus. The annually occurring event takes place at BEXCO – the Busan Exhibition & Convention Center – located in Busan, a city rich in maritime tradition and strategically important as a fishing location in Korea. The expo is organized by Bexco, a coordinator distinguished by its commitment to presenting and promoting the fishing and seafood industry.

With main topics ranging from seafood, fishing equipment, to processing and packaging technologies, and investment promotion for marine and fishing operations, the BISFE showcases a wide array of products and services. These include, among others, frozen and chilled seafood, various types of fish and algae, processing machinery, aquaculture equipment, fishing gear, as well as packaging materials and machinery. Special thematic areas like Smart Farming and Halal seafood also find their place at the expo.

Impressing not only with a stunning diversity of products and technologies, the expo also offers an extensive ancillary program, including seminars, forums, workshops, and cooking shows. On the whole the organisers welcomed on the 3 days of the fair, from 01. November to 03. November 2023, about 437 exhibitors from 22 countries and 12135 visitors on the BISFE Busan International Seafood & Fisheries Expo in Busan.
