Since its founding in 1990, the BelFarm trade fair has been one of the most important platforms for livestock farming and agricultural innovation in Eastern Europe. The name “BelFarm” stands for Belarusian Farming Industry Expo, highlighting its clear focus on professional agriculture in Belarus and beyond. Each year, the international agricultural community gathers at the Minsk International Exhibition Centre – a modern venue located in the capital of Belarus.
The fair is organized by JSC “Minskexpo” in cooperation with Germany’s IFWexpo Heidelberg GmbH. This partnership combines international expertise with local knowledge, making BelFarm a key meeting point for professionals from around the world.
BelFarm impresses with its comprehensive approach: it not only showcases the entire livestock production value chain, but also serves as a driver of innovation and sustainable development in the agricultural sector. Central themes include breeding animals, modern reproduction technologies, feed technology, barn construction, animal health, aquaculture, and bioenergy from agricultural production. Trade visitors find practical solutions and cutting-edge technological developments here – from farmers and veterinarians to biogas technicians and research teams.
The exhibition’s offerings are diverse and hands-on. They range from innovative equipment for barn maintenance, climate control, manure disposal, and animal feeding to new vaccines, veterinary procedures, and disinfection technologies. New developments in dairy and meat processing, packaging, storage, animal transport, and biogas-based energy production are also presented in a clear and engaging way.
A special highlight is the BIOGAS Salon, which focuses on the latest developments in fermentation, utilization, and measurement technologies for biogas plants – a strong signal of the trade fair’s forward-looking orientation. The exhibition program is further enriched by expert forums and product presentations.
Exhibitors come from a wide range of sectors – from manufacturers of agricultural machinery and animal health companies to research institutions. The professional audience consists primarily of agricultural entrepreneurs, livestock breeders, veterinarians, food technologists, investors, and representatives from associations, universities, and government agencies.
BelFarm is an established part of International Agro-Industrial Week and is embedded within a network of thematically related trade fairs.
The venue, the Minsk International Exhibition Centre located in the Great Stone Industrial Park, impresses with its modern infrastructure, strategic proximity to Minsk International Airport, and excellent accessibility via public transport and major highways. As such, BelFarm is not only a flagship event for Belarus’s agricultural sector, but also a gateway to international partnerships and forward-thinking solutions at the heart of Europe.
The BelFarm takes place annually, and therefore for the 34th time previsibly in June 2026 in Minsk.
