Bello Castrop-Rauxel

“Bello – The Dog Fair” is an annual trade and public event dedicated to man’s best friend. Since its inception in 2011, it has established itself as a key meeting point for dog enthusiasts, professionals, exhibitors, and animal welfare organizations.

The event is held at the Europahalle in Castrop-Rauxel, whose spacious indoor and outdoor areas provide ideal conditions for a diverse and engaging exhibition experience. Each year, the venue transforms into a vibrant hub for dog lovers, where information, inspiration, and interaction take center stage. The fair is organized by MesseCom Nord, led by Rainer Zinke, a company known nationwide for its innovative trade show concepts and successful event series at various locations across Germany.

What sets “Bello” apart is its comprehensive focus, which goes far beyond that of a traditional sales fair. The spotlight is on current and relevant topics such as nutrition, grooming, health, training, equipment, insurance, and breed diversity. In addition to showcasing products like leashes, toys, or dog fashion, exhibitors also present specialized services – from training and legal advice to holistic veterinary care. The fair thus brings together players from various sectors, including retail, animal health, insurance, pet care, dog sports, breeding, and animal welfare.

Special highlights include a fun dog race and a large dog casting show held outdoors, providing entertainment and opportunities for audience participation. At the same time, animal welfare remains a central theme: numerous organizations use the event to present their work, gain support, and, in some cases, find new homes for their animals. In this way, “Bello” becomes more than just a marketplace – it serves as a platform for commitment and awareness.

The fair is aimed at both private dog owners and professionals from the fields of training, breeding, grooming, and veterinary care. With around 80 to 90 exhibitors, it offers a wide range of products, information, and experiences that is truly one of a kind. Thanks to its convenient location with access to public transportation and nearby highways, getting there is easy. Visitors bringing their dogs should note that vaccination records are checked at the entrance – ensuring the safety and well-being of all animals and attendees.

The 15th Bello takes place on 2 days from Sat., 13.09.2025 to Sun., 14.09.2025 in Castrop-Rauxel.
