The Building + Living – first organized in 1999 - takes place in the exclusive spaces of KKL Luzern and covers all areas of building, renovating, living and energy. The trade fair concept consists of an informative framework program with lectures, consulting offers, and panel discussions, providing visitors with essential decision-making aids for the construction and renovation of residential property. The fair is aimed at homeowners, prospective builders, architects, planners and the whole family. The public trade fair for building, living and gardening, with topics including kitchen, bath, interior design and home ownership, and the extensive lecture program, is the perfect platform for homeowners, builders, and construction professionals. At the fair, you can find information on planning your own home or a renovation of the building, realizing your dream kitchen, or transforming the garden into an oasis. In addition to the topic of energy, Building + Living offers innovative and sustainable construction and living trends in the areas of kitchens, bathrooms, interior design and much more. The organizer of the fair is ZT Fachmessen AG, an owner-managed, independent family company in its third generation and one of the largest private trade fair organizers in Switzerland. The 8 self-organized trade fairs, including professional and public fairs with around 2,000 exhibitors, attract over 150,000 visitors annually. The KKL Luzern is located in the heart of Lucerne city - on the shores of Lake Lucerne and right next to the train station. It is perfectly accessible by public transport. Whether you arrive by train, bus or boat, you can reach the cultural and convention center in the heart of the city in no time thanks to its location.
The Building + Living takes place annually, and therefore for the twenty-fifth time previsibly in February 2026 in Lucerne.
