The China International Modern Agricultural Exhibition (CIMAE) is one of the most important trade fairs for modern agriculture in China and takes place every spring in the China International Exhibition Center (CIEC) in Beijing. Modern agriculture is of enormous importance to China as it plays a central role in ensuring food security for a population of over 1.4 billion people while contributing to the country's economic development and stability. The fair is aimed at trade visitors and experts from the agricultural sector and has established itself as an important event for the exchange of knowledge, innovations, and business opportunities. It focuses on new technologies, equipment, machines, and solutions that help improve the efficiency and sustainability of agriculture. Exhibitors from different countries present their latest products and services in areas such as agricultural machinery, irrigation systems, crop protection, fertilizers, seeds, animal husbandry, aquaculture, and environmental protection. The fair also offers lectures, workshops, and panel discussions on current topics in agriculture, such as sustainable cultivation methods, technology trends, and the challenges of climate change. The event is supported and organized by several organizations, including the China Association for the Promotion of International Agricultural Cooperation, the China Agricultural Engineering Society, and Shixin Lamp International Exhibition (Beijing) Co., Ltd. CIMAE is not only an important event for the Chinese agricultural industry but also attracts international visitors and exhibitors interested in the growing Chinese market.
The CIMAE China International Modern Agricultural Exhibition takes place annually, and therefore for the 14th time previsibly in September 2025 in Guiyang.
