The CRITICAL INFRASTRUCTURE FORUM is an international trade fair showcasing innovative technologies, security solutions and strategies designed to strengthen the resilience of critical infrastructure. The event focuses on protecting the facilities and systems essential to the functioning of government, the economy and society. It takes place at PTAK Warsaw Expo in Nadarzyn, near Warsaw, Poland, and is organised by Ptak Warsaw Expo Sp. z o. o., a Polish exhibition organiser responsible for numerous international trade fairs across a wide range of industries.
The trade fair addresses current challenges in protecting critical infrastructure and ensuring the continuity of essential services. Key areas of focus include IT and operational technology (OT) cybersecurity, industrial control system security, physical protection of critical facilities, emergency preparedness and business continuity management. Other topics include secure communications networks, resilient power supplies and compliance with regulatory requirements, particularly the EU's NIS2 and Critical Entities Resilience (CER) Directives, alongside national security regulations. Against a backdrop of increasing cyberattacks, geopolitical uncertainty and growing technological dependencies, these issues are becoming increasingly important for public authorities and private-sector organisations alike.
The exhibition covers a broad range of solutions, from advanced cybersecurity technologies and SCADA system protection to intelligent surveillance and access control systems, counter-drone technology and physical security equipment for critical facilities. The offering also includes emergency power systems, resilient communications technologies and solutions for monitoring critical infrastructure assets. Exhibitors additionally present services covering risk assessment, security consultancy, crisis management and regulatory compliance. Trade visitors can compare security approaches, explore technological developments and identify practical measures to improve operational resilience and reliability.
Exhibitors represent sectors including IT and cybersecurity, industrial automation, security and surveillance technology, energy systems and telecommunications. Companies specialising in infrastructure management, emergency response and management consultancy are also represented. Open exclusively to trade visitors, the event is aimed primarily at critical infrastructure operators in the energy, water, transport, telecommunications and utilities sectors. It also attracts representatives from government agencies, public bodies, security organisations, industrial companies and municipal utilities, as well as IT security managers, crisis management professionals, systems integrators and decision-makers responsible for maintaining essential facilities and services.
An important part of the CRITICAL INFRASTRUCTURE FORUM is its accompanying specialist conference on critical infrastructure resilience, which encourages knowledge sharing between businesses, technology providers and public-sector representatives. Through expert presentations, practical case studies and panel discussions, the conference explores topics such as management responsibilities during security incidents, the technical resilience of IT and OT systems, and maintaining essential services during crises and attacks. The programme examines emerging threats while highlighting practical approaches to strengthening security strategies, emergency response plans and operational procedures.
PTAK Warsaw Expo is located in Nadarzyn, south-west of Warsaw, and offers modern, extensive exhibition facilities. Its proximity to the S8 expressway provides convenient access to the regional road network, while Warsaw Chopin Airport, approximately 15 kilometres away, makes the venue accessible to international visitors. The location near the Polish capital provides a suitable setting for professional networking, industry collaboration and the development of new business relationships.
The first edition and therefore the premiere of the CRITICAL INFRASTRUCTURE FORUM takes place on 3 days from Tue., 23.03.2027 to Thur., 25.03.2027 in Nadarzyn.
