The CeMAT Australia is an international trade fair specializing in the areas of intralogistics, robotics and automation, material transport, and supply chain management. It was first established by Hannover Fairs Australia in 2015 and is a continuation of the successful CeMAT fair in Hanover. The name CeMAT is an abbreviation standing for "Centrum für Materialflusstechnik" (Centre for Material Flow Technology), underscoring the pivotal importance of material flow technology in modern industry and logistics.
The trade fair is held alternately in Sydney and Melbourne every year and attracts professionals from around the world. The main topics of the fair encompass the various facets of intralogistics and supply chain management. During the fair, the latest developments and solutions in the fields of robotics, automation, material transport, modern storage techniques, and computer systems are showcased. A particular highlight of the event is a concurrently held conference, with the focus on material handling and potential improvements in transport infrastructures like road, rail, air, and sea ports. The exhibitors are primarily from the sectors of logistics, automation, and robotics, though there are also companies from adjacent industries who can benefit from these technologies.
The main visitor groups consist of professionals from the mentioned and related sectors as well as potential customers and investors. CeMAT Australia is part of the global CeMAT series, held at various locations around the globe, thereby offering a worldwide platform for exchange and networking in the field of intralogistics.
The CeMAT Australia will take place on 3 days from Tuesday, 22. July to Thursday, 24. July 2025 in Sydney.
