The Circular Resources and Recycling Expo (CRRE) is an international trade fair dedicated to the circular economy, recycling and sustainable resource use. It serves as a key business and knowledge-sharing platform for the resource management sector in the Asia-Pacific region and is held at the Suzhou International Expo Center in Suzhou, Jiangsu Province, China.
The event is jointly organised by the China National Resources Recycling Association (CRRA) and Adsale Exhibition Services Ltd. Their partnership combines in-depth expertise in China’s recycling and resource management sector with extensive international trade fair experience. Rather than operating solely as a conventional product exhibition, CRRE combines the trade show with conferences, forums, expert discussions and business matchmaking. Its aim is to provide a comprehensive platform covering the entire value chain – from collection and recycling to reprocessing and high-value recovery, as well as green finance, international standards and regulatory requirements.
CRRE covers a wide range of areas within the modern circular economy. Key topics include recycling technologies and equipment, plastics recycling, battery and e-mobility recycling, automotive recycling, waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE), metals recycling and urban mining, textile and packaging recycling, as well as the recovery and recycling of end-of-life photovoltaic modules and wind turbines. Other areas of focus include resource efficiency, zero-waste city concepts, ESG and decarbonisation, sustainable supply chains, digital product and material passports, traceability, international recycling standards, and the use of digital technologies and artificial intelligence. By bringing together technology, regulation and commercial implementation, the event is particularly relevant to companies seeking to deploy recycling solutions and integrate closed-loop material flows into their production processes and supply chains.
The exhibitor offering is correspondingly broad. Products and solutions on display include machinery and equipment for collection, sorting, dismantling, shredding, processing and recycling, alongside smart recycling and automation systems. The exhibition also features technologies for recovering metals and other valuable materials, processes for plastics and textile recycling, and solutions for recycling batteries, electrical and electronic equipment, vehicles, solar panels and wind turbine components. The portfolio is complemented by recycled raw materials, digital systems for lifecycle management and traceability, consultancy, certification and ESG services, as well as financing and investment solutions.
Exhibitors represent a wide range of interconnected industries, including recycling and waste management, environmental technology and mechanical engineering, plastics and chemicals, metals, automotive and batteries, electrical and electronics, renewable energy, textiles and fashion, packaging and consumer goods, as well as digital technology, consultancy, certification and financial services. CRRE is open exclusively to trade visitors. Its target audience includes recycling and waste management companies, raw material and material producers, manufacturers and brand owners, plant and equipment manufacturers, technology providers, and companies from the automotive, battery, electronics, energy, plastics, packaging and textile industries. The event also attracts buyers, investors, financial institutions, research organisations, trade associations, public authorities, and sustainability and ESG professionals. Its international focus is further reflected in the participation of overseas delegations and partners and in the collaboration between Chinese and international industry stakeholders.
The Suzhou International Expo Center is located in Suzhou Industrial Park and is easily accessible by public transport. Suzhou Metro Line 1 serves Culture & Expo Center station, with the exhibition venue just a few minutes’ walk from Exits 3 and 4. Metro connections are also available from Suzhou’s main railway stations. International visitors can travel via Shanghai Hongqiao International Airport or Shanghai Pudong International Airport, among other options. CRRE therefore combines a major industrial location with an internationally focused trade platform for the circular economy, recycling and sustainable resource management.
The Circular Resources and Recycling Expo will take place on 3 days from Wednesday, 25. November to Friday, 27. November 2026 in Suzhou.
