ConPract Essen

ConPract is an annual career fair for students and graduates of business-related disciplines at the University of Duisburg-Essen and ranks among the most prominent career events in the region. Since its inception in 2004, it has served as a focused platform for direct interaction between young talent and well-established companies from a wide range of industries. The fair is organized by the Faculty of Business Administration and Economics, a highly regarded academic institution known for its excellence in teaching and research, and its strong commitment to bridging the gap between theory and practice.

Each spring, the centrally located Essen campus transforms into a vibrant meeting point for those exploring career opportunities. One of ConPract’s standout features is the use of the digital matching platform talentefinder, which enables attendees to connect with suitable companies and schedule meetings in advance—based on the concept of modern dating apps, but with a clear focus on careers. On-site, additional services such as CV checks and professional career counseling further enhance the value of the event.

Participation is free of charge for students and graduates of the University of Duisburg-Essen. The campus is easily accessible by public transport or car, with a parking garage located directly opposite the Glass Pavilion, the main event venue.
