The New Orleans Ernest N. Morial Convention Centre comprises almost 102,000 sq m of exhibition area. It is therefore the sixth-largest congress centre of the USA. In the renovated convention centre, numerous fairs and exhibitions are presented annually. That`s why the New Orleans Ernest N. Morial Convention Centre can be regarded as one of the ten most important convention centres in the United States. The fact that the centre is part of New Orleans, makes it to a very special place: Just directly besides the congress centre, there are lots of bars, clubs and Live Jazz offers, giving New Orleans its typical flair. Divers parking places are situated in front of the Convention Centre, most of the attractions lay around it and hotels are often reachable by foot. The Convention Centre is conveniently located for car drivers, though the next station of public transport, the New Orleans Union Passenger Terminal, is 20 minutes within walking distance.
