Baumesse Tübingen is a public exhibition dedicated to building, home improvement, renovation, refurbishment and energy efficiency. The event takes place at the Festplatz Tübingen, where temporary exhibition halls and a spacious outdoor area provide ample room for showcasing products and services, as well as for expert advice and face-to-face discussions.
The event is organised by BaumesseE GmbH, based in Münster, which has many years of experience in organising regional building exhibitions. Baumesse Tübingen forms part of a nationwide series of events now held at 20 locations across Germany. The exhibition concept combines the presentation of practical products and services with personalised expert advice, direct interaction between suppliers and consumers, and an informative supporting programme. For businesses, the event also provides a platform for attracting regional customers, developing new business opportunities and networking.
The exhibition covers virtually every area relevant to the construction, renovation and modernisation of houses and flats. Topics range from housebuilding, new-build projects, construction planning and building materials to renovation, refurbishment and energy-efficient building upgrades. Other key areas include insulation, façade, roof and basement refurbishment, and mould remediation. Energy efficiency and renewable energy are particularly prominent themes. Exhibits include photovoltaic and solar energy systems, heat pumps, modern heating systems and solutions designed to reduce energy consumption and costs. The range is complemented by building services, electrical, air-conditioning and sanitary systems, windows and doors, solar shading, flooring, furniture and interior design solutions, as well as products and services for gardens, balconies and terraces. Accessible and age-friendly living, property, financing options and advisory services also form part of the exhibition programme.
Exhibitors represent a wide variety of industries and trades associated with construction and housing. They include construction companies, skilled trades businesses, joinery firms, suppliers of heating, air-conditioning, sanitary and electrical systems, solar and photovoltaic companies, energy consultants, façade and refurbishment specialists, window and door manufacturers, landscaping companies, and businesses specialising in property, finance and interior design. Alongside larger companies, self-employed professionals and regional family-run businesses also exhibit at the event, using it to present their services to visitors with specific construction, refurbishment, modernisation or home improvement projects.
The main visitors include private housebuilders, homeowners and flat owners, prospective property buyers, and people planning renovation or modernisation projects. The exhibition also appeals to families looking to build their own home, improve the energy efficiency of an existing property or redesign their living space. In addition, Baumesse attracts trade visitors, skilled tradespeople and other professionals from the construction industry.
Beyond its product and service displays, the exhibition offers a supporting programme featuring free expert talks, professional advice, food and refreshments, and a variety of activities organised by exhibitors.
By bringing together regional specialist businesses, practical products, personalised advice and the latest developments in energy, construction and housing, Baumesse Tübingen provides a practical meeting place for housebuilders, property owners, renovators and anyone interested in modern home and energy solutions. Festplatz Tübingen is centrally located beside the River Neckar, close to the historic old town and Hohentübingen Castle. Its proximity to the B27 makes the venue easily accessible by car from Tübingen, Reutlingen, Stuttgart and the surrounding region, with parking available directly at the site. The Festplatz is also well served by public transport, with nearby bus stops only a few minutes' walk from the exhibition grounds and convenient connections from Tübingen Central Station. Visitors from within the city can also reach the venue easily by bicycle via the cycle routes along the Neckar.
The Construction Fair (Baumesse) will take place on 3 days from Friday, 09. October to Sunday, 11. October 2026 in Tübingen.
