DKM Dortmund

The DKM in Dortmund is the leading trade fair for the finance and insurance industry, providing a dedicated platform for independent insurance brokers, both male and female. It also targets all financial service providers, fee-based advisors, wealth managers, bank consultants, and real estate agents.

The organizer is bbg Business Consulting GmbH based in Bayreuth. Since its debut in 1995 in Bayreuth, this two-day specialist fair has been held annually since 1999, usually in October, at the Dortmund Exhibition Centre. DKM is a registered trademark that evolved from the term "coverage concept fair" (Deckungskonzeptmesse in German). Over time, the DKM has come to represent more than just a fair for coverage concepts. However, the abbreviation has been preserved as a standalone brand.

At the DKM, both global players and traditional companies, niche providers, and startups showcase their products and services. The event also serves as a networking and further education opportunity for the industry. Exhibitors at the DKM include companies from insurance, claims adjustment, investment, asset management, real estate, as well as banks and Fin-/InsurTechs. They offer comprehensive market insights through numerous lectures, making it a perfect networking platform for visitors. Given the increasing role of digitization in the finance and insurance sectors, many software and IT companies are also exhibitors at the DKM

On the whole the organisers welcomed on the 3 days of the fair, from 25. October to 27. October 2022, about 276 exhibitors and 6261 visitors on the DKM in Dortmund.
