DTECH Midwest is the leading trade fair for energy infrastructure, smart grids, and digital grid technologies in the American Midwest. The name stands for “Distribution Technology Midwest,” underscoring the event’s clear focus on distribution network technologies in a region defined by vast distances, extreme weather conditions, and a growing demand for energy. The event is organized annually in late summer by Clarion Events, Inc., one of the world’s foremost trade show organizers in the energy and technology sectors.

The venue is the modern Hyatt Regency in Minneapolis – centrally located in a city recognized as a key hub for the energy transition in the Midwest. DTECH Midwest brings together decision-makers, grid operators, technology providers, public authorities, and developers from the fields of power distribution, grid modernization, and digitalization.
