Donald E. Stephens Convention Center Also know as DES Convention Center

The Donald E. Stephens Conventions Center, informally also known as Rosemont Convention Center, is named after the mayor of Rosemont, founding the city in 1956. The fairground is close to the international airport Chicago O´Haire, one of the most significant airports in the world. A footbridge connects the complex with the parking places and three hotels. The small city Rosemont with 4,000 inhabitants provides nevertheless a capacity of 5,230 hotel rooms. The Convention Center is a well-equipped complex for conferences, fairs, and events with averagely 50,000 visitors a day. The altogether six exhibition halls provide a total space of 840,000 sqm.
