EMC JAPAN is Japan’s leading trade fair for electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) and is widely recognised as one of the industry’s foremost platforms for technologies designed to control electromagnetic interference in electronic systems. As electronic devices become increasingly powerful, interconnected and compact, the importance of EMC continues to grow worldwide.
The exhibition is held annually during the summer at Tokyo Big Sight, Tokyo’s landmark venue and Japan’s largest exhibition and convention centre. As an integral part of TECHNO-FRONTIER, one of the country’s most prominent technology and industrial trade shows, EMC JAPAN has established itself as a key meeting place for professionals involved in electromagnetic compatibility, product safety and standards-compliant product development.
The event is organised by the Japan Management Association (JMA), one of Japan’s leading business and management organisations. For decades, the JMA has been dedicated to promoting innovation, productivity and management excellence across industry. It also organises numerous national and international specialist events that support technological advancement and encourage the exchange of knowledge and expertise throughout the industrial sector.
EMC JAPAN focuses on practical solutions for preventing, analysing and mitigating electromagnetic interference from the earliest stages of product design and development. The exhibition covers the full spectrum of modern EMC technologies, ranging from test and measurement equipment and simulation software to components and materials for shielding, grounding and noise suppression. Particular emphasis is placed on compliance with national and international standards and regulatory requirements in demanding sectors such as automotive engineering, medical technology, industrial automation and electronics manufacturing.
Visitors gain a comprehensive overview of innovative products and services, including EMC measuring instruments, EMI and EMS analysis tools, shielded chambers, noise filters, ferrite cores, inductors, antenna technologies, simulation software, and components for grounding, shielding and insulation. The offering is further complemented by testing, certification and consultancy services, static electricity control solutions, and protection systems against lightning strikes and surge voltages.
Exhibitors primarily represent the electrical engineering, electronics, test and measurement, automation, communications and information technology sectors. Companies from the automotive and medical technology industries are also strongly represented. Alongside leading Japanese manufacturers, numerous international suppliers showcase their latest innovations, making the exhibition a truly global platform for the EMC industry.
Key visitor groups include development engineers, design engineers, quality managers, test engineers, certification specialists and technical decision-makers from industry, research and development. In particular, companies involved in the design and manufacture of electronic products attend the event to explore the latest technologies, gain a deeper understanding of regulatory requirements and identify effective solutions to EMC-related challenges.
A comprehensive programme of expert lectures, technical presentations and panel discussions provides valuable insights into current developments, emerging standards and future challenges in the field of electromagnetic compatibility.
EMC JAPAN is far more than a conventional trade exhibition. It has become a highly specialised industry forum for professionals who recognise electromagnetic compatibility as a critical success factor in modern electronics. With Tokyo Big Sight as its venue, the event provides an ideal environment for international business networking and professional exchange. Thanks to its excellent connections to Tokyo’s public transport network, the exhibition centre is easily accessible by rail, metro and bus. Visitors can also combine their attendance with the rich cultural, commercial and tourist attractions of Japan’s capital city.
The EMC JAPAN will take place on 3 days from Wednesday, 15. July to Friday, 17. July 2026 in Tokyo.
