Education Fair (Bildungsmesse) Mühlhausen

The Bildungsmesse is an annual education and careers fair open to the public, offering school pupils, school leavers and young people starting their careers valuable insights into employment opportunities in the Unstrut-Hainich district. The event focuses on careers guidance, finding suitable apprenticeships and planning future career paths. It takes place at the Unstrut-Hainich Vocational School Campus in Mühlhausen, Thuringia, and is organised by SAYS-marketing GmbH & Co. KG.

The fair brings young people together with local employers, training providers and organisations, creating opportunities for face-to-face discussions about career prospects. Exhibitors provide information on vocational training programmes, apprenticeship vacancies, work placements and career development opportunities. A wide range of sectors is represented, including skilled trades, manufacturing, retail, public administration and social care.

A key feature of the Bildungsmesse is the opportunity to speak directly with apprentices, vocational trainers and recruitment professionals. Visitors can ask questions, learn about application procedures and job requirements, and meet prospective employers offering apprenticeships. Career videos, first-hand accounts and practical discussions provide a realistic picture of working life, helping visitors assess how their interests and abilities align with different occupations. These personal interactions offer a valuable complement to searching for apprenticeships online.

With its strong regional focus, the Bildungsmesse helps local employers attract new talent and supports the long-term development of a skilled workforce in the Unstrut-Hainich district. It helps young people make the transition from education into employment while enabling businesses to establish early connections with prospective apprentices. Hosting the event at a vocational school campus also highlights the close relationship between education, practical training and the regional economy.

Overall, the Bildungsmesse provides an important platform for careers guidance and access to apprenticeship opportunities. The vocational school campus in Mühlhausen offers a suitable setting for the event and is accessible via the regional road network and public transport. The fair is particularly aimed at young people wishing to build their careers locally, helping them explore different occupations, make professional contacts and take informed decisions about their future career paths.

The Education Fair (Bildungsmesse) will take place on Saturday, 10. April 2027 in Mühlhausen.
