Province Alberta is located in the west of multifaceted Canada. When you veer towards the canadian Rocky Mountains, Calgary and its sparkling high rises suddenly emerges from the plains. The metropolis with about 1 million inhabitants is just one hour`s drive from the famous Banff National Park in the Rocky Mountains and is known for the greatest rodeo show of "Calgary Stempede" in the world, attracting innumerable visitors every year. The correspondent fair centre Calgary Stampede Park offers a lot of exhibition possibilities and event areas. Five exhibition halls with different dimensions and further areas are arranged in BMO centre, named after horse breeds. Furthermore, there is a theatre, the Stampede Corral, lending itself to sport events, and more halls in a complex called "Big Four". The International Airport of Calgary is 20 minutes by car from there. Highway 1 and 2 enable the access to the city from different directions. A train station of Light Rail Transit is located directly at the exhibition complex with stop station Victoria Park/Stampede, another one at close quarters.
