Flughafen Berlin Tempelhof

The former Airport Berlin Tempelhof is situated about 4 km south of the city centre and is easily accessible by car or public transport. The Mehring- and Columbiadamm, the Manfred-von-Richthofen-Street, and the Duden Street as well as the motorway A100 junction 20 directly lead to the main entrance of the area. Furthermore the complex can be reached with the underground train U6 and several bus lines, the regional train station Berlin Friedrichsstraße is close. The area has a total size of 4 million sqm with seven hangars (50,000 sqm), the airfield and an apron area with nearly 500,000 sqm. Twice a year, the fashion trade fair Bread & Butter rents all seven hangars, the apron area and the main hall and it is the location of the Berlin Vital Fair taking place during the Berlin Marathon
