The Jacob K. Javits Convention Centre is situated in West Manhattan, 11th Avenue New York City. The exhibition area of the complex, built in the year 1986, comprises 62.700 sq m. The greatest exhibition space can be subdivided into 10 smaller areas, that`s why the centre is able to adapt to different exhibitions, fairs and congresses taking place all the year round. 3.5 million people visit the exhibition rooms yearly. Up to 3.200 people have room in the Special Events Hall and most of the congress rooms imply flexible walls which enable an enlargement respectively reduction of the rooms. Jacob K. Javits Convention Centre has an excellent transport connection to bus, train and metro. There are only a few repectively not any parking possibilities at the Centre itself, but there are numerous car parks nearby. All big airports are reachable within an hour, but La Guardia Airport is located close-by and accessible within 20-30 minutes.
