Arena Nova

The Wiener Neustadt is situated approx. 50 km outside of the Capital Vienna. The ninth largest city of Austria has 40.000 inhabitants. A visit of the Dome or a cultural trip to the city theatre of Wiener Neustadt is recommended. The Arena Nova is located directly at the Airport Wiener Neustadt. The first large hall with its impressive wooden roof construction was built for the Handball World Championships for Women in 1995. The hall offers seats for 4.240 visitors on two floors and holds up to 5.300 visitors without seats. Built in 2004, the Arena Cult has a capacity of 1.100 persons. The Arena Nova Sport holds 350 – 1.400 guests and is used for different occasions besides sport events. The Arena Nova Fun impresses with its extraordinary wooden ceiling. The Arena Nova is connected with Graz and Vienna by the motorway A2 and can be reached via the Wiener Neustadt Ost exit. The bus line G links the city and the hall complex in intervals of 30 minutes.
