Antwerp has just under half a million residents and is the most famous city for art and culture in the Kingdom of Belgium. After the European metropolis Brussels, Antwerp has the second biggest Belgian city region and an outstanding infrastructure. Parts of the city are a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Antwerp offers a medieval urban centre that is almost completely preserved. Therefore, it is an exposed destination of international city tourism. The convention centre Antwerp Expo covers more than 22,000 m² with 4 modern convention halls, such as conference and seminar rooms with up to date equipment. There are approximately 3,000 parking spaces nearby and a good traffic connection for buses and trains. The renowned conventions, congresses and cultural events are visited by more than a million people every year.
