Bangkok has been the capital of the Kingdom of Thailand since 1782 and it is by far the most populous city of the country with a total of 7 million residents. The Bangkok International Trade & Exhibition Center hosts several advanced technological features for exhibitions, congresses, conferences, events and seminars. The centre can meet the requirements of 30 people up to 100,000 visitors. Rooms are available in different sizes, ranging from 5.000 m² to 26.000 m², which enables the center to host events of different size and specification. Each year, the BITEC arranges numerous international exhibitions, fairs and conferences and provides multilingual specialists, who support guests and exhibitors. The center, which was opened in 1997, provides indoor parking for 1.680 vehicles and outdoor parking for another 3.020 cars. Additionally, there is a space for busses and trucks. The Suvannabhumi International Airport is only a 15 minute drive away from the center and the close distance to the port of Bangkok, Laem Chabang, ensures a fast transportation of exhibits to the center.
