Fira de Girona

Girona is located close to the Mediterranean and near the french border. The small town with 90,000 inhabitants is the Capital of the Province Girona and divided in the old and the new town. The old town with its ancient, narrow streets invites to a walk. The town´s symbol is the Cathedral Santa Maria taking 400 years construction time. Attached with a round loggia, Fira di Girona owns a large exhibition hall with a total size of 1,566 sqm. Offices, stores, and a bar are part of the building. The upper area offers a size of 2,900 sqm. The fairground is situated in the west of the inner city close to the motorway A7 passing Girona. The bus line 11 connects via bus stop Palau de Fires to the complex. The train station can be reached by foot within 5 minutes.
