Flanders Expo

Ghent with a population of 235,000 people is located in the north west of Belgium and impresses with its medieval atmosphere. The cityscape is marked with medieval guild houses. Impressive sights are the Gravensteen Castle and the Cathedral St. Bravo. Flanders Expo is the city´s fairground with 54,000 sqm exhibition place in eight halls. The seminar rooms have space for up to 800 guests. Four conference rooms have been divided, but can be linked to give place for 50 to 500 persons. Hall 8 is located separately, he other ones are connected to hall 1. More than 6,000 parking places for cars and additionally 50 for buses are available. Antwerp is in a driving distance of 50 km via motorway E17 and Brussels can be reached via E40 (A10). Ghent provides a large harbour and is the transport hub of Brussels concerning train service.
