The organizer of the Expo Antad & Alimentaria in Guadalajara is the ANTAD (Asociación Nacional de Tiendas de Autoservicio y Departamentales). There are also a variety of lectures and conferences discussing trends, strategies, market analysis, and technology in the retail, hotel, restaurant, and catering sectors. Every year, the "ANTAD Entrepreneur Challenge Contest" is organized, in which the most innovative products with high market potential are promoted.
