The FFB-Schau is a regional trade fair typically held every two years, recognized as a key economic event in the Fürstenfeldbruck district. With its diverse range of themes and family-friendly concept, the fair has firmly established itself as a flagship event for the local economy. After a multi-year break, it returns with renewed energy—not only as a traditional exhibition and sales platform for crafts, trade, and industry but also as a forward-looking business fair that successfully bridges the gap between professionals and the general public.
Organized by Mattfeldt & Sänger Marketing und Messe AG, based in Kempten, the company has been professionally managing numerous trade fairs across southern Germany since 1999. The FFB-Schau serves as a dynamic platform that brings together information, inspiration, and interaction under one roof—specifically, across up to six exhibition tents and a spacious outdoor area at the Volksfestplatz in Olching. The venue is conveniently located and easily accessible by car and public transportation.
A new date in May opens up exciting possibilities: larger open-air spaces, a welcoming food tent with a performance stage, and a cozy beer garden all enhance the overall fair experience. Visitors can look forward to an atmosphere that encourages both professional exchange and relaxed enjoyment.
The FFB-Schau covers six main thematic areas: energy, construction, and renovation—with a focus on modern heating and building technology as well as sustainable solutions; household, gardening, and living trends; travel and leisure; health, wellness, and sports. A special focus is placed on the 60+ demographic, with tailored offers around active living, mobility, and recreational activities.
Another highlight is the Career Information Day (BIT), a dedicated platform for students, apprentices, and professionals to explore training and career opportunities in the region. This initiative contributes to securing the local skilled workforce and promotes direct engagement between businesses and emerging talent. Start-ups and young companies are also given a stage to showcase their innovative products and services, supported by a preparatory workshop for exhibitors.
The "Specialties and Delicacies" section adds a culinary dimension to the fair. Local producers offer handmade gourmet items and regional specialties for sampling and purchase.
With its clearly defined structure, combination of trade show and public event, strong regional roots, and contemporary approach, the FFB-Schau is among the most significant fairs in the western outskirts of Munich—a place where business, quality of life, and community come together in an inspiring way.
On the whole the organisers welcomed on the 5 days of the fair, from 12. October to 16. October 2016, about 255 exhibitors and 34320 visitors on the FFB-Schau in Olching.
The FFB-Schau in Olching took place from Friday, 16. May to Sunday, 18. May 2025.
