FIMA – the International Fair of Agricultural Machinery – is one of the most important trade fairs for agricultural machinery and technology in Europe. Since its inception in 1962, the event has developed into a key meeting point for the agricultural sector. Every two years, the exhibition grounds of Feria de Zaragoza in the northern Spanish city of Zaragoza are transformed into an international hub for innovation, technological solutions, and sustainable developments in agriculture.
Organized by Feria de Zaragoza, one of Spain’s leading trade fair organizers, FIMA provides a specialized platform for exchange among farmers, agribusinesses, manufacturers, distributors, researchers, and policymakers from around the world. No other event of its kind offers such a comprehensive range of technical solutions covering all aspects of modern agriculture – from high-tech agricultural machinery, tractors, and harvesting equipment to irrigation systems, seeds, and fertilizers, as well as precision farming, digital technologies, AI-powered sensors, and agri-business software.
A core objective of FIMA is to address current challenges such as sustainability, resource efficiency, and climate change in a practical and forward-looking manner. Key topics include Agriculture 4.0, the circular economy, and new business models. At the same time, the event actively involves young talents, start-ups, and women in agriculture to promote future-oriented structures. Workshops, expert lectures, and panel discussions foster high-level knowledge exchange and strengthen the international dialogue within the sector.
A particular highlight of the fair is the presentation of innovation awards, which recognize outstanding technological advancements and sustainable solutions. Exhibitors represent all areas of the agricultural industry – including agricultural engineering, agri-logistics, environmental technology, digitalization, and research. Visitors primarily come from professional farming, the agri-food industry, trade, academia, and government – not only from Spain but also from more than 80 other countries.
Zaragoza’s strategic location – situated between Madrid, Barcelona, and Valencia – along with its excellent transport connections via the AVE high-speed rail network, major motorways, and the nearby Zaragoza Airport, makes the fair especially attractive to international guests.
Whether you're a driver of innovation, a technology enthusiast, or part of a sustainability-focused agricultural enterprise – FIMA in Zaragoza is the place where the future of agriculture is not only discussed but actively shaped.
The FIMA will take place on 5 days from Tuesday, 10. February to Saturday, 14. February 2026 in Zaragoza.
