FORSTlive is a renowned trade fair for technology, energy and hunting which takes place annually in Offenburg, Germany. It is an important event for professionals, companies, and those interested in forestry who want to find out about, and exchange information about, the latest technologies, products, and services. The fair attracts both national and international visitors and exhibitors and offers a platform for the presentation of innovations and solutions in the forest and wood industries. The FORSTlive was first held in 2000 and has since developed into one of the leading trade fairs in the forestry and related industries. It extends over several days and offers a diverse program of live demonstrations, specialist lectures, workshops, and product presentations. A special feature of FORSTlive is the practical relevance of the event, which enables visitors to experience machines, devices, and technologies in action on-site. These include, for example, wood harvesters, cable winches, forestry tractors, and other vehicles that are demonstrated under real conditions. This enables the participants to better assess the functionality and performance of the products and technologies presented and to convince themselves of their quality. Another focus of the fair is on sustainable forestry and wood energy. FORSTlive offers a platform for companies and professionals to present innovative solutions and technologies in the field of renewable energies, especially wood energy and biomass. These include, for example, wood gasifiers, biomass heating systems, wood chip systems, and pellet production.
The FORST live takes place annually, and therefore for the twenty-fifth time previsibly in April 2026 in Offenburg.
