The Foire du Pays de Saint-Malo is an annual regional trade fair that has established itself since its inception as a showcase of Breton lifestyle and innovation. It takes place at Le Quai Saint-Malo – Parc des Expositions, a modern exhibition center located in the Intra-Muros district, directly adjacent to the historic city walls of the renowned corsair town of Saint-Malo. Every year, the fair attracts thousands of visitors from both the region and across France.
The Foire du Pays de Saint-Malo is organized by the Fédération du Commerce du Pays de Saint-Malo, a committed business association dedicated to strengthening the regional economy, fostering cross-industry exchange, and promoting sustainable development in the area. The event positions itself as a key platform for trade professionals, entrepreneurs, and the general public with a keen interest in regional commerce and culture.
The exhibition covers a broad range of topics, reflecting both the economic strengths and cultural identity of the region. At its heart are regional products and culinary specialties, including freshly caught fish, cider, cheese, seafood, and traditional Breton fare. Handcrafted goods, particularly in textiles, ceramics, and jewelry, highlight the fusion of tradition and contemporary design. The agricultural sector is also well represented, showcasing innovative technologies and sustainable organic farming practices.
Tourism plays a prominent role as well, with offerings focused on leisure, culture, and nature in and around Saint-Malo, Dinard, and Mont-Saint-Michel. At the same time, businesses from sectors such as services, digital innovation, and sustainable business models demonstrate the forward-thinking spirit of the local economy. Additional focus areas include home & garden as well as health & wellbeing, where exhibitors present new ideas in furniture, landscaping, natural remedies, and wellness solutions.
Exhibitors span a wide range of industries—from agricultural producers and tech start-ups to artisans, tourism agencies, and local retailers. The fair targets both private consumers from the region and entrepreneurs from the greater Brittany area looking to establish business contacts, discover new products, or explore collaboration opportunities.
Program highlights include live culinary tastings, artisan competitions, thematic forums, and audience awards that recognize outstanding products and exhibitor achievements.
The host city of Saint-Malo lends the event a unique atmosphere. Rich in history and located along the Emerald Coast, it is both a vibrant commercial hub and a major tourist destination. With its maritime backdrop, charming old town, and coastal setting, Saint-Malo offers a compelling environment for the fair. Le Quai Saint-Malo is easily accessible by car via the N137 or by public transport, including the Saint-Malo train station and connecting bus lines or a short walk. The Foire du Pays de Saint-Malo is thus a memorable experience for all the senses—and a cultural and economic highlight in Brittany’s annual calendar.
The Foire du Pays will take place on 3 days from Friday, 30. January to Sunday, 01. February 2026 in Saint-Malo.
