Fresh Africa Cairo

Fresh Africa is the leading trade fair for fresh produce in North Africa and a highly specialized industry platform held annually at the Egypt International Exhibition Center (EIEC) in Cairo. It represents the combined quality and diversity of African agricultural and fresh products – with a clear focus on export, trade, and innovation.

The event is organized by IFP Egypt, an experienced organizer of international trade fairs. With Fresh Africa, the company has created a targeted platform that is practical, unique, and highly relevant to the industry. The fair is aimed at professional visitors from the retail and wholesale food sectors, import and export businesses, as well as decision-makers in gastronomy, hospitality, and food processing.

Fresh Africa takes place once a year. As a regionally anchored event, it plays a key role in driving Egypt's agricultural sector and serves as a gateway to the markets of Africa and the Middle East.

At the heart of the fair are fresh agricultural products such as fruits, vegetables, herbs, spices, legumes, and grains. The product range includes citrus fruits, grapes, strawberries, dates, and pomegranates, as well as potatoes, peppers, tomatoes, green beans, spring onions, and sweet potatoes. Aromatic herbs such as mint, coriander, basil, and rosemary are also featured. The offering is rounded out by dried beans, sesame, fava beans, and other oilseeds. Special emphasis is placed on convenience and organic products that meet growing international demands for sustainability and healthy nutrition.

A particular highlight of the fair includes expert forums, product presentations, and innovation awards that recognize new varieties, cultivation methods, and packaging solutions.

Exhibitors primarily come from the fields of agriculture, food processing, packaging, logistics, and trade – both from Egypt and abroad. The fair attracts professional visitors from over 20 countries, providing a unique platform for transcontinental networking and market entry into Africa and the Arab world.

The venue – the Egypt International Exhibition Center in New Cairo – impresses with its modern infrastructure, strong international connectivity, and central location.
