GEOTECH EXPO is an international trade fair for surveying, geospatial information and advanced spatial measurement technologies. It is specifically aimed at industry professionals working in geodesy, geoinformatics, construction, infrastructure, urban planning and digital public administration. The event takes place at PTAK Warsaw Expo in Nadarzyn, near Warsaw, and is organised by Ptak Warsaw Expo Sp. z o.o., a Polish trade fair and industry event organiser and venue operator.
GEOTECH EXPO focuses on advanced geospatial technologies that enable more efficient and accurate planning, construction, monitoring and management of buildings, transport networks, cities and other infrastructure. Its scope covers precision measurement and digital surveying, as well as reality capture, LiDAR, photogrammetry, UAV technologies and mobile mapping. Other key areas include GIS, geospatial data management, BIM, digital twins, satellite data and InSAR, alongside applications in artificial intelligence, automation, data analytics and cloud computing. In this way, the exhibition brings together conventional surveying techniques and increasingly automated, data-driven approaches to the planning and management of the built environment and spatial assets.
At GEOTECH EXPO, industry professionals can explore technologies and solutions designed for professional applications. These include GNSS systems for RTK and PPK surveying, electronic and robotic total stations, TLS, MLS and SLAM laser scanning systems, as well as UAVs and photogrammetric solutions, including technologies for BVLOS operations. Mobile mapping and ground-penetrating radar (GPR) solutions for subsurface investigation are also key areas of focus. The exhibition additionally showcases GIS platforms, Earth observation (EO) satellite data and InSAR technologies, along with systems for creating digital twins of cities and development projects. Solutions for BIM-GIS and as-built integration, as well as displacement and deformation monitoring, further broaden the range of technologies on display. A particularly forward-looking area is the use of AI and machine learning for the automated classification of large point clouds, together with cloud-based technologies for processing, managing and delivering large volumes of geospatial data. The integration of these solutions with systems such as ASG-EUPOS and with geoportal and INSPIRE infrastructures further demonstrates the event’s strong practical focus.
Live demonstrations of advanced surveying, scanning and UAV technologies are a major feature of GEOTECH EXPO. Visitors can discover new products and technological developments while engaging directly with manufacturers, developers and specialist service providers. A programme of industry events, conferences and presentations provides further insight into current developments and their practical applications. The exhibition therefore offers a comprehensive overview of both technologies already available to the market and emerging developments that are set to shape the future of the surveying, construction and geospatial sectors.
GEOTECH EXPO exhibitors primarily represent the surveying and geospatial industries, as well as geodesy, photogrammetry, remote sensing, UAV technology, laser scanning, GIS software, satellite data, BIM, construction, infrastructure, IT, artificial intelligence and cloud technologies. The professional audience includes surveyors, geodesists, GIS and BIM specialists, civil engineers, architects, planners, property and infrastructure developers, and infrastructure operators. The event also attracts representatives from local and central government, IT and data specialists, and decision-makers from businesses and organisations that capture and process geospatial data or use it in planning, construction and investment projects.
GEOTECH EXPO is held at PTAK Warsaw Expo in Nadarzyn, south-west of Warsaw and close to Warsaw Chopin Airport. The modern exhibition centre is easily accessible by car via the main transport routes serving the Warsaw metropolitan area, as well as by public transport from Warsaw. Its convenient location makes GEOTECH EXPO an accessible meeting place for Polish and international professionals to exchange expertise, explore current developments and discuss the future of geospatial and surveying technologies.
The first edition and therefore the premiere of the GEOTECH EXPO takes place on 3 days from Tue., 12.01.2027 to Thur., 14.01.2027 in Nadarzyn.
