GameOn is an international public event dedicated to video game culture and the gaming industry, and is regarded as one of the leading events of its kind in the Baltic region. It brings together entertainment, technology, creativity and professional networking, attracting gaming enthusiasts as well as developers, companies, students, content creators, artists and industry professionals.
The event takes place in Vilnius, the capital of Lithuania, at the Lithuanian Exhibition and Congress Centre LITEXPO. As one of Lithuania’s leading event venues, LITEXPO plays a key role in event organisation and exhibitor management. With five exhibition halls, ten conference rooms and additional outdoor areas, the venue provides extensive facilities for international trade fairs, conferences and large-scale events.
GameOn is jointly organised by the Lithuanian Exhibition and Congress Centre LITEXPO and the Lithuanian Game Developers Association (LŽKA). LITEXPO is responsible for key aspects of project coordination and exhibitor management.
GameOn covers a broad spectrum of contemporary video game culture. Its main areas of focus include video games, game development, esports, virtual reality, emerging gaming technologies, indie games, retro and arcade gaming, board games, education, cosplay, digital art and content creation. In the interactive EXPO and GameVerse areas, visitors can try both new and established games and experience a range of VR and experimental gaming concepts. The programme is complemented by dedicated developer areas, educational activities and professional conference sessions exploring current developments and the future of the gaming industry.
Exhibitors represent a wide range of sectors, including gaming, software, IT, technology, entertainment, media and the creative industries. Participants include game developers and studios, independent developers, technology companies, providers of gaming products and services, artists and other members of the digital creative community. The Artist Alley gives independent artists and designers an opportunity to showcase and sell illustrations, prints, fan art and handmade work inspired by gaming and popular culture.
GameOn goes far beyond a conventional product exhibition, offering an extensive programme of activities and live entertainment. Esports tournaments and show matches, live performances, cosplay, retro and arcade gaming, and board games provide numerous opportunities for visitors to participate and engage. Areas such as the Artist Alley and Eduverse, together with dedicated activities for game developers and gaming communities, further enhance the programme and encourage interaction between different groups of participants.
The event attracts a diverse audience, ranging from gamers and families to game developers, IT and technology professionals, content creators, artists, students, early-career professionals, industry representatives and investors. GameOn therefore combines a consumer-focused gaming event with a professional platform for networking, professional development, emerging talent and business opportunities. By bringing together players and developers, entertainment and professional interests, and technology and culture, the event has become an important meeting point for the Baltic gaming community.
GameOn is held at LITEXPO – the Lithuanian Exhibition and Congress Centre, located at Laisvės pr. 5, 04215 Vilnius. With a total area of approximately 33,600 square metres, the exhibition and congress centre provides the infrastructure required for an event of this scale. LITEXPO has been a member of UFI, the Global Association of the Exhibition Industry, since 2006. Its modern exhibition and conference facilities provide a suitable setting for GameOn, where games are not only showcased but also played, developed and discussed. At the same time, the event offers a comprehensive insight into the role of video games as an integral part of contemporary digital culture.
The GameOn will take place on 3 days from Friday, 23. October to Sunday, 25. October 2026 in Vilnius.
