Geo Connect Asia is an annual trade exhibition and conference held in Singapore, dedicated to geospatial data, Geographic Information Systems (GIS), surveying, remote sensing, positioning technologies, and drone and mapping solutions. As one of the region's leading industry events, it showcases practical, market-ready technologies for the digital capture, analysis and application of spatial data, while providing a platform for the exchange of innovation, technical expertise and international business opportunities.
The event takes place each year at the Sands Expo & Convention Centre in the heart of Singapore and is organised by Montgomery Group Asia, an internationally recognised exhibition organiser with extensive experience in delivering specialised B2B trade events. By combining a major international exhibition with a high-calibre conference programme and a wide range of networking opportunities, Geo Connect Asia has established itself as a leading platform for the geospatial industry across the Asia-Pacific region.
The exhibition focuses on innovative technologies and applications for the acquisition, processing and visualisation of spatial data. Exhibits include advanced GIS software and geospatial data platforms, cloud and data management solutions, GNSS and positioning systems, LiDAR technologies, photogrammetry, mobile and terrestrial surveying systems, Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR), Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR), satellite and Earth observation technologies, remote sensing, aerial imaging, indoor mapping, digital terrain analysis, as well as solutions for modelling, visualisation, and virtual and augmented reality. The exhibition is further complemented by high-precision surveying instruments, sensor technologies, automation and measurement systems, together with specialised services in cartography, geospatial data management and engineering surveying.
A defining feature of Geo Connect Asia is its close integration with the co-located events Digital Construction Asia, Drones & Uncrewed Asia and Ocean Connect Asia. Together, these events create a comprehensive platform covering the entire geospatial data lifecycle, from subsurface information and terrestrial data to aerial and marine data. International conferences, technical presentations, live technology demonstrations and expert forums encourage knowledge sharing while showcasing practical applications across sectors including smart cities, infrastructure, construction, energy, environmental management, agriculture, logistics, public safety and disaster management. The emphasis is firmly on technological innovation and proven best-practice solutions, with competitions and award ceremonies playing only a minor role.
Exhibitors represent a broad range of sectors, including geodesy, surveying, geoinformatics, satellite and space technologies, drone technology, sensor systems, software development, digital transformation, telecommunications, construction and civil engineering, as well as research and development. The event attracts surveying professionals, GIS specialists, geoscientists, urban and infrastructure planners, construction companies, utility providers, government agencies, environmental organisations, property developers, universities, and decision-makers from both industry and the public sector seeking innovative technologies for digital data capture and the intelligent use of geospatial information.
Geo Connect Asia is recognised as one of the Asia-Pacific region's leading trade events for geospatial technologies. Its location in Singapore places it at the heart of one of the world's most dynamic economic regions. Widely recognised as a pioneer in smart city development, digital infrastructure and technological innovation, Singapore provides an ideal setting for an international event dedicated to geospatial data and next-generation technologies.
The venue is the state-of-the-art Sands Expo & Convention Centre, located within the integrated Marina Bay Sands resort, one of Asia's best-known exhibition and convention centres. Thanks to its central location, the venue is easily accessible by MRT, public bus and taxi. Its close proximity to hotels, restaurants and the attractions of Marina Bay provides international trade visitors with excellent conditions for productive business meetings and a comfortable stay in Singapore.
This year the Geo Connect Asia takes place on 2 days from Wed., 17.03.2027 to Thur., 18.03.2027 in Singapore already for the 6th time.
