Since its inception in 2020, Grains Africa has evolved into one of the most important international trade fairs for grain, agribusiness, and agricultural technology on the African continent. Each year, the Diamond Jubilee Expo Center in the heart of Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, opens its doors to industry professionals, investors, and key stakeholders from more than 16 countries. The event is part of a regional exhibition series that also takes place in Kenya, Uganda, and Rwanda, promoting economic and technological cooperation across East and Central Africa.
The fair is organized by MXM Exhibitions, an internationally active trade show organizer specializing in the agricultural sector in Africa and the Middle East. MXM strategically connects the needs of local markets with the expertise of global providers—an approach that has made Grains Africa a vital meeting point for producers, traders, processors, and technology suppliers.
The exhibition focuses on key topics such as grain cultivation, storage, processing technologies, milling, packaging systems, and digital solutions for agricultural production. The range of exhibits spans from storage systems, silos, mills, and cleaning machines to modern packaging equipment, conveyor systems, laboratory technology, moisture control systems, color sorters, and comprehensive logistics solutions. Final products such as flour, baked goods, pulses, and oilseeds are also showcased—offering a complete overview of the entire value chain.
Exhibitors come from a wide range of sectors including agri-technology, mechanical engineering, food processing, packaging technology, and logistics. The trade fair is specifically designed to attract decision-makers, buyers, farmers, mill operators, traders, and investors seeking practical solutions and new business partnerships.
A particular highlight of Grains Africa is its emphasis on direct exchange and collaboration: discussion forums, product demonstrations, and technological presentations give attendees the opportunity to explore current trends and experience innovations first-hand.
Dar es Salaam—Tanzania’s economic hub—provides the ideal setting for this forward-looking industry event. The Diamond Jubilee Expo Center stands out for its central location, excellent connectivity to the international airport and regional transport networks, as well as its modern infrastructure and spacious exhibition areas.
The Grains Africa will take place on 3 days from Thursday, 29. January to Saturday, 31. January 2026 in Dar es Salaam.
