Baltimore Convention Center

Baltimore is the largest city in the state of Maryland and owns one of the most important seaports in the US. The city has a total area of 240 km² and a population of 640,000 residents. The Baltimore Convention Center is the leading center in the Mid-Atlantic Region and hosts numerous conventions, trade fairs and expositions every year. The center can be found in the heart of the city and is located next to the station MARC. Also the Baltimore-Washington International Airport is only a 15 minute drive away from the center and the Penn Station can be reached within 7 minutes. The Convention Center comes with a meeting and exhibition space of 113.800 m², of which 25.000 m² belong to the exhibition hall. Furthermore, there are numerous conference rooms (7.900 m²) and ballrooms (3.000 m²). In 2008, the Hotel Hilton Baltimore was opened, which is directly connected to the convention center by a bridge, the so-called skywalk.
