IEC Inter Expo Center

Bulgaria`s capital Sofia in the west of the country is the economic and cultural centre as well as the most important centre of communication. 1.4 million people live here on 490 sq km. With a programme of 40 international trade fairs on the 42,000 sqm great complex, Inter Expo and Congress Centre, opened in 2003, is one of the most important Bulgarian exhibition places. Six pavilions with a total area of 14,000 sqm allow different modulations and connections so that events from 200 to 2,000 people are practicable. The Congress Centre offers, in seven halls with a capacity of 20 to 350 seats and the latest equipment, good service for international congresses, conferences, gala diners, sport events, concerts etc. The complex, in the south-eastern part of the city at motorway Vienna-Sofia-Istanbul, is three km from Sofia airport, seven km from the city centre and 17 km from central station plus international bus station. There are 2,000 parking places for visitors and exhibitors on the fairground.
